AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Financial and Planning Analysis Controller, Engineering. This is a global role providing financial planning and analysis support for the effective controlling of AGCO’s worldwide Engineering budget and Engineering capital expenditure infrastructure spending. This role directly supports VP Finance, Engineering and New Product Introduction, and also involves frequent liaison with Senior VP, Engineering and other senior Engineering leaders in all regions.

 

Your Impact

  • Oversee orderly process for preparation, consolidation and review of Engineering expense budgets and quarterly forecasts (circa US$360m).
  • This includes organizing submissions and management reviews using specific templates to provide various additional required analysis including spend by product, platform and new product program, and also manpower planning.
  • Compile and reconcile site template submissions from database with Essbase and SAP reporting for global Engineering spend.
  • Support and oversee orderly process for 5 year Strategic Business Plan (SBP) materials relating to Engineering. This will include preparing analytics analysis for strategic plan at project and platform level, including comparisons of margin generation by product platform, to support project priority and selection decision making.
  • Review and report on Actual Engineering expenses performance compared to budgets and forecasts.
  • Directly support Engineering IT and Engineering Off-Board Engineering leaders to assemble and control their budgets, and provide related decision support.
  • Orderly database management of sensitive Engineering financial information.
  • Provide support in various ad-hoc areas, including reporting of RINT initiatives for Engineering, Board reporting and external reporting requests (example EIB loan support). 
  • Complete Budgets, Forecasts and strategic plans including entry into Finance systems on time and without error. Complete Senior Management review material for various Budgets, Forecasts and strategic plan reviews involving VP Finance and SVP, Engineering and his direct reports on time and without error.
  • Compile and reconcile site template submissions from global database with Essbase and SAP reporting systems for global Engineering spend planning.
  • Prepare complex analytics analysis for strategic plan at project and platform level by combining various detailed database references,
  • Analyze and extract detailed project information in controlled way for Board meeting presentations.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance qualification is desirable
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in Financial Planning
  • Excellent Excel, and database management skills. SAP and Essbase knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a role dealing with complex matrix and multi-national organization issues.
