Job Purpose
In this role you will provide timely and informative financial and strategic support to multiple areas of the business, and support and assist in analysis, planning, reporting, and business decision support. The nature of this role will give you unique access to leadership and cross functional teams.

  • Providing financial analysis, assistance or support, as needed, to cross-functional teams
  • Monitor and review customer accounts receivable balances, including performing credit checks
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve customer accounts receivable balance discrepancies
  • Delivery of insightful analysis on performance across various KPIs/segments
  • Partner closely with the Marketing  teams on handling brand investment spend, ensuring accurate  monthly forecasts and  Budgets. 
  • Evaluating promotional pricing plans and strategies
  • Maintain Pricing, Promo and Customer Terms in SAP
  • Complete monthly rebate calculations timeously
  • Set Up Vendors and monthly Purchase Order goods receipts of Key Vendors.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification, and implementation of financial systems as necessary
  • Complete ad hoc analysis for the senior collaborators

 

Who you are

  • A highly motivated  Bachelor degree in one of the following Accounting/Finance/Economics/Engineering 
  • 2-3 years of diversified, related financial experience; previous experience in financial  planning, budgeting, scenario modeling, and / or forecasting processes
  • Very strong analytical skills and SAP proficiency required
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple activities and set priorities
  • Strong communication skills as well as ability to clearly present financial issues are essential 
  • Proven track record to think creatively and display the initiative to generate ideas and improve results
  • Experience in a retail/ FMCG or multi-site operation is advantageous 

 

Key Opportunity
As a key business partner, you will be working closely with the rest of the finance and commercial team to ensure team deadlines are met, assist in strategic planning, commercial plans are optimized,  and generally be responsible for creation, analysis and representations for the financials of the areas you support.
