Performs a variety of repair, maintenance, and preventive maintenance tasks on various Environmental Services equipment to ensure that all equipment is safe and operational.
-Must have three years of floor care equipment repair experience.
Equivalent Education and/or Experience
-May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for the experience requirements.
Skills or Special Abilities:
-Must be familiar with proper body mechanics.
-Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of specialized floor machines, high speed buffers, and vacuums.
-Must be able to communicate effectively with department and hospital personnel, both orally and in writing.
-Must be physically able to lift heavy loads, walk, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
