As a Software Engineer Intern at Boston Scientific, you will…

Help develop applications using Web development technologies.

Perform programming tasks, such as development of front-end, back-end Web-based applications, and Web/Internet services.

Challenging development and test assignments will be offered versus simple tasks – you will be integrated into a development team.

Gain a fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
-
Current Bachelor’s student in your Junior or Senior year or grad student. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify.

Pursuing a computer science, software engineering, computer engineering degree (or comparable)

GPA of 3.0 or higher
-
Must have authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Understands Object-Oriented Design and Analysis (OOD and OOA)

Knowledge in some of the following categories:

C# or Java
-
HTML5, CSS, Angular, Javascript, JQuery

Writing SQL queries

JSON, YAML, XML

Understanding of version control – Git

Designing and implementing Web Services

Visual Studio, Eclipse or similar IDEs
