California Natural Color is a division of E. & J. Gallo Winery, which was founded by two entrepreneurs—Ernest and Julio Gallo. Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, you will be responsible for researching and providing financial and business related analyses to assess the impact of various projects, systems and transactions

What You Will Do

Analytics & Sr. Leadership Presentations:

  • Conduct analyses and research in such areas as managerial and financial reports, and drivers of growth
  • Distill and communicate large amounts of data in an effective way

Financial Planning, Accounting & Reporting:

  • Produce monthly financial reporting
  • Drive organizational efficiency initiatives
  • Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries.
  • Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions.
  • Adapts accounting and recordkeeping functions to current computerized accounting systems technology.
  • Utilizes computer to input, retrieve or display accounting information.

Project Management:

  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Drive organizational efficiency initiatives
  • Head count and labor overhead Reporting
  • Physical inventory counts and reconciliation
  • Inventory compliance and product traceability
  • Support Sr. Finance Manager with monthly overhead analysis
  • Partner cross-functionally with IS department to support system stability and process improvements

What You Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics; or 4 years of Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics experience reflecting increasing level of responsibility

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus 2 years of Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong communication skills
