The Analyst, Event Management and Advisory Boards is part of the Global Sales team within the Commercial division. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute events that showcase American Airlines’ brand and values and develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, customers, and partners.

What you’ll do

•    Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including conferences, meetings, and networking receptions
•    Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure successful execution
•    Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure high-quality event delivery
•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop event content, including agendas, presentations, and marketing materials
•    Analyze event metrics and provide insights to inform future event strategies
•    Provide support for advisory board meetings, including agenda development, meeting coordination, and follow-up actions
•    Develop and maintain event management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
 

All you’ll need for success

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience 
•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field
•    3+ years of relevant experience in event management, marketing, or a related field
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience  
•    Experience working in the airline or hospitality industry
•    Certification in event management 
•    Experience with event management software and tools (e.g. event planning platforms, registration systems)
•    Strong knowledge of event marketing and promotion strategies

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
•    Event planning and management

•    Attention to detail and accuracy
•    Event management software and tools (e.g. event planning platforms, registration systems)
