Advanced Assembler 

 

Who We Are Looking For

The Advanced Assembler is responsible for building and repairing all CUE tractors listed in AGCO’s product catalog. Each model tractor will be assembled in accordance with the highest Engineering, Quality, and Productivity standards as described in AGCO’s work instructions. 

What You Will Do

Learn and be able to train on all positions and models.

Safety steering committee member – lead and drive the safety culture for assigned workgroup – take turns leading the morning stretches.

Evaluate and sign off on training certification for new assemblers.  All assemblers are responsible for training, but the Line Lead has the final say in determining training completion.

Responsible for performance the following:

  • Moving team members zone to zone as needed in and assisting constraints order to meet production goals.
  • Resolving quality issues
  • Proactively mitigating and communicating material or tooling shortages

Demonstrating a positive attitude and discretionary effort

Learn all zones on the line.

Learn and utilize lean problem-solving tools to find, contain, and problem solve issues found during the assembly process.

Perform repairs on tractors or parts when quality issues are created and found.  Repairs must be done in a safe and timely manner.

Follow assembly directions from the Production Supervisor, Assembly Lead, Work Instructions, Engineering Drawings, Quality Documents and Verbal Instructions.

Performs mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assembly tasks for each build.

The ability to read spreadsheets, serial numbers, and part numbers to complete all required assemblies.

Responsible for following all safety rules and regulations and wears all required personal protective equipment.

Capable of inspecting finished assemblies or product to assure that the work meets all required company specifications.

Must have basic computer skills.

 

What You Will Bring

  • 2 years of assembly experience
  • 2 years working with various hand tools and impacts.
  • Exposure to a production-based environment
  • Understanding of quality metrics
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • PC literate

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Some technical training a plus

 

 

 

A Plus If You Have  

  • Knowledge of Lean and 5S is highly desirable.
