Our Finance & Accounts Department is looking for an Accountant II, Cost to be ased at Goa office.
How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:
General Summary: We are looking out for candidate with hands on experience in field of Accounting, Costing & MIS from Manufacturing industry. The person should possess good analytical skills and able to define problems, research/collect and analyze data. This role involves Product cost analysis, variance analysis, margin analysis, monthly & quarterly MIS reporting on Site performance to management. Further role involves liaising with the Statutory auditors and support on preparation & finalization of annual accounts.
Costing & MIS
- Standard costing, Current costing & Analysis of Costs
- Monthly variance analysis – Material price, freight & duty
- Monthly /Quarterly MIS reports on earned hours, peer comparison, share of business for transporters.
- Inventory Quality Report, Ageing, Analysis of slow-moving items
- Analysis of current cost & margin analysis for different business units
- Make in India – Product Cost Analysis, Analysis of local content in product cost
Finance & Accounts
- Liaising with the auditor – Coordinate and attend to Annual Audits, Corrective actions on audit findings to ensure compliance with relevant statutes & India Accounting Standards
- Support on Preparation and finalization of accounts as per IND AS for Statutory Audit
- Inventory Valuation, COGS Analysis & Margin Analysis
- SOX & USGAAP compliances
- Month end closing with strict adherence to closing schedule
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Preferrably CA/CWA with minimum of two years of experience in the field of Accounting, Costing & MIS from manufacturing industry.
- Good accounting knowledge with preferred experience in SAP environment (FI, MM & CO module)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power point)
