About the Role
The Electrophysiology (EP) Account Manager will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use our EP product portfolio, including Farapulse, POLARx, and RHYTHMIA equipment. In this role you will demonstrate the safe use of equipment during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals.

 

This field-based role offers a permanent position and is responsible for North East France, with frequent travel to visit clients (approx. four days per week).

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development.
  • Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of the EP devices by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all abreast of the latest product and technology developments.
  • Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the EP systems and their components.
  • Providing initial and continuous, as needed, training and feedback for development team and sales representatives (as appropriate) on the EP portfolio, development process, products, features, and procedures.
  • Meets with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospitals and to identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for North East France. On occasion, you may be required to support colleagues in neighboring regions.
  • This remote field-based role will require weekly travel (approx. four days per week, depending on customer needs).

 

What are we looking for in you:

  • Successfully completed studies within Biomedical Sciences (or a similar subject area), preferably with a master’s qualification in medical technology.
  • Professional industry experience in a similar role (such as a Technician, Sales Representative or Nursing within EP, CRM or another cardiovascular field) is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
  • Professional working proficiency (or above) language skills in both French and English.
  • Can rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
  • Strong team player, collaborative, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated and can influence others.
  • Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent.
  • Willing to travel as required by workload.
  • Holder of an eligible driver’s license for operating a vehicle as required for the role.
