Warranty Adminstrator

 

Who We Are Looking For:

  • This position will assess warranty claims for AGCO products and communicate with Dealers.
  • Assessment includes responsibility for the processing of claims, making decisions on settlement using a combination of personal judgment and other data sources.
  • Disputes on settlement levels or claim anomaly clarification are handled with the Dealer in line with the published AGCO Warranty Terms and Conditions and AGCO Warranty Policy.
  • The position will also provide Dealer assistance, and superior customer service to any warranty related inquiry. In addition this position will provide warranty administration and warranty related inquiry assistance to internal AGCO departments such as: Field Technical Support Managers, and Corporate Accounting.

What You Will Do:

  • Administration of AGCO Warranty Policy and Procedure
  • Assess and process Warranty Claims, ensuring that failures are clearly explained and coded and that warranty rules are applied.
  • Enforce rejection of incorrect and invalid claims.
  • Process aged claims within set target days
  • Dealer Support via Telephone / Email, for Warranty Claims Submission and Other Warranty Related Inquiries
  • Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers. Including:
    • a. AGCO Dealers

      b. District/Field Service Managers

      c. Technical Service Supervisors

      d. AGCO Supplier Recovery

      e. Dealer Support Services

      f.  Dealer Support Group

      g. AGCO Marketing Services

      h. AGCO Accounting

      i. Extended Service Coverage Providers

  • Identify any apparent anomalies in the Terms and Conditions that impact either AGCO or Dealers/Distributors
  • Undertake specific analysis tasks as specified
  • Respond to Internal AGCO Personnel Warranty Related Inquiries
  • General Functions as Assigned in Warranty Administration Department

What You Will Bring:

  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office specifically Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in an office environment
  • Office and Customer Service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with agricultural equipment valuable
  • Conducting warranty policy / warranty system training to internal personnel and external dealers/distributors
  • Warranty system building and  troubleshooting support

 

A Plus If You Have:

  • Minimum Level of Education Required for Position – Associate’s/Technical Degree- Business Administration preferred
  • Routine/Customary – Problem Solving Skills – Requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. Requires the ability to assess the validity and applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances that are not covered by procedures.
