Senior Validation Engineer will be responsible for the Validation of Planters projects ensuring industry leading customer satisfaction. Having the Farmer First mindset, will plan, develop and perform product validation including lab and field tests, to make sure machine performance and durability exceed farmes expectations, delivering the best return on investment for the customer. Through analytical and agronomic tools will help solving field, mechanic and electronic problems, identifying farmers needs and proposing produdct improvements to fulfill these needs. Capable of executing machine performance and durability tests will contribute for the validation process developing and following global standards. Will be part of a strong and colaborative team, focused on delivering the best products for the farmers.
Planing, coordinating and performing validation tests for new and current products; Estimate and control budget for projects validation; Validate performance, durability and agronomic benefits of new and current products; Represent Planting Engineering at multiple meetings and global validation team; Communication with customers, dealers and key partners to run prototypes and collect feedback; Keep prototypes maintenance schedule on time, collect samples according project requests and register all events and activities related; Develop quality improvement methods in order to get solid, reliable and safe field test procedures; Support the engineering team on root cause analysis of field problems and suggest possible solution and/or containment action; Provide valuable contributions for product evolution and improvement.
Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering or equivalent degree; Desired minimum 8 years of engineering experience in field tests; Must possess familiarity with problem resoltution analysis and stress/strain/fatigue; Capable of reading and interpreting order tracks, spectrograms and order spectra; Proficiency using Excel and Power Point. Fluent in English
