Job Description

About the Job:

  • Manages Test and Measurement Calibration Technicians responsible for support programs/processes of Electrical and Mechanical Equipment within three US base Metrology Labs
  • Directs, manages resources to implement tactical business plans and projects.
  • Develops and implements solutions to department issues.
  • Is accountable for meeting P&L targets
  • Monitor and adjust to changing environments ensuring all commitments are met within the Customer Agreements.
  • Participate in business plans working with Sales, Technical Marketing, Quality, and Engineering.


About the Team:

The focus of this position in Keysight is to deliver high-quality calibration services to our customers. Specifically focused on returning equipment within our standard Turn-Around-Time (TAT).

The direct team will consist of Metrology Technicians, Logistic Coordinators, and Administrative personnel.

The teams are in Tempe, AZ, Bethlehem, PA, and Nashua, NH.



  • Oversee calibration and repair services of Keysight T&M equipment
  • Support customer-centric leadership for the Service Center business
  • Strengthen customer relationships and engage with key accounts to ensure account retention
  • Closely manage the team performance to achieve defined financial objectives while meeting/exceeding established KPI’s
  • Drive continuous improvement of operational process efficiencies to maximize gross margins
  • Manage service center assets to maximize utilization
  • Manage technical performance of Service Technicians, as well as the commitment to quality of all personnel
  • Assist leadership in the analysis and resolution of issues to improve service delivery 
  • Ensure technical support is provided as needed by Service Sales or direct customer interactions 
  • Identify, achieve, and maintain the scope of accreditation appropriate for the services offered at this service center. 
  • Support internal processes to meet ISO 17025 quality requirements and other Keysight-defined technical and quality system requirements 
  • Actively support higher-level vital initiatives and projects.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors or master’s degree or University Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience as a manager, supervisor and/or individual contributor.
  • Requires proven skills in leading/managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics.
  • Proven track record of management within a service delivery organization
  • Demonstrated ability to scale up production to support business growth
  • Experience in managing T&M service process efficiencies to beat cost targets while supporting growth
  • Experience in translating customer needs into service delivery capability
  • Strong leadership skills biased toward communications, employee development, and management-by-objectives
  • Proven ability in translating business strategy to execute objectives and deliver business results
  • Demonstrated track record of maintaining strong customer relationships with supporting metrics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a calibration and repair function for T&M equipment
  • PMEL or equivalent technical training is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with LEAN and Six Sigma to drive process improvements and efficiency gains
