The Role

Lumen is looking for an experienced marketer to execute marketing campaigns that focus on the adoption of Fiber Internet service among residential consumers.  The Sr. Manager Marketing will be expected to execute fiber marketing campaigns and coordinate with multiple teams: fiber campaign strategy, field marketing, partners, and greenfield managers.  They will also identify innovative ways to increase the reach of campaigns through new and effective marketing tactics with a heavy focus on digital.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with cross functional teams, including paid digital, fiber strategy, local field marketing, product management, Marcom, and the creative studio to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with internal creative studio, and brand and communication team on creative strategy and tactical execution of media assets.
  • Seek to identify GTM process improvements, streamline marketing request, and optimize existing assets.
  • Manage the GTM fiber execution team.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of your marketing campaign to drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
  • Review campaign performances and make recommendations to improve or expand to other fiber markets or channels.
  • Identify and drive new initiatives that set the bar for fiber marketing tactics.
  • Drive metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in process and results.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 7-10 years of recent experience in product marketing and/or marketing communications, with an emphasis on digital marketing and experiences
  • Experience in launching new products and/or brands and building awareness
  • Strong leader with ability to create actionable plans and deliver results in a highly matrixed environment
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to lead multiple stakeholders.
  • Sound ability to lead effective work process development and improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA in Marketing or related field
  • Product marketing experience for residential broadband products with a thorough understanding of GPON broadband technology and a basic understanding of network build and customer provisioning processes
