Job Description

As Process Integration Department Manager, you are responsible for overseeing activities related to the technical support and sustaining engineering functions in new technode transfer and product manufacturing. Your responsibilities include planning and directing implementation of transfer activity, or product modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products. Additionally, you may act as an engineering liaison with internal customers to ensure processes meet the needs of identified customers. Other responsibilities include providing input to select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. You will contribute to the development and characterization of a given memory product. You will also focus on NPI (new product implement), improvement of Yield and quality of memory technology in a High Volume Manufacturing Fab utilizing Process and Product technology. Establishing a strong relationship with the areas and partners outside of the Fab, specifically R&D, Global Quality and Product Engineering.    

 
Responsibilities and Tasks
Environmental Health Safety and Security (EHSS) 
    •  Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations 
    •  Actively participate in the EHSS program by reporting all EHSS-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team (ERT), Supervision, etc.) 
    •  Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases 
    •  Ensure the safety on your people and all people in the area 
    •  Stay current on all applicable training related to EHSS 
        
Develop and Manage People 
    •  Create and drive a performance plan for each employee 
    •  Ensure each member on your team is aware of his/her expectations, and have identified both short and long term goals for career advancement 
    •  Establish effective 1:1’s with team members and peers 
    •  Ensure your team members are increasing and improving applicable work skills and overall individual value to the site 
    •  Build and maintain a solid working relationship with peers and customer groups 
        
Communicate Effectively 
    •  
Maintain and enforce best possible communication cross fab and networking, including TD

    •  Communicate project and program expectations to team members and stakeholders 

    •  Present data in a one on one situation or in a meeting forum 
    •  Communication clearly to others through conversations e-mails and reports 
    •  Provide team members a clear and concise pass-down and follow-up 
    •  Gather important information from the communication of others through good listening and reading habits 
    •  Liaise with project and program stakeholders and sponsors on an ongoing basis 
    •  Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas 
    •  Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout program life cycle 
    •  Develop and deliver program progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations 
        
Drive Project/Program Management 
    •  Define scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders 
    •  Define alignment of projects and programs to company’s technology transfer objectives 
    •  Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents 
    •  Identify and manage project and program dependencies 
    •  Track transfer program milestones and deliverables 
    •  Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel 
    •  Identify potential crises, and develop and execute resolution plans 
    •  Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within and across the project teams 
    •  Escalate risk and concerns to Fab 
    •  Manage multiple projects at once 
    •  Ensure all projects are executed in a timely and efficient manner 
                                
Demonstrate Accountability 
    •  Own any change you implement or of which you are a part 
    •  Verify the change is functioning as planned and address any unintended consequences promptly 
    •  Apply risk mitigation processes 
    •  Adhere to all applicable Fab protocols for safety of people and product 
    •  Proactively look for or highlight any incorrect/inadequate/missing procedures
