Overview

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated creative strategist in Corning’s Brand and Creative Studio, with a holistic focus on strategic communications plan development, creative idea generation, communications development, and execution

• Work with the Director, Corporate Brand, other Corporate Communications Directors, the Division Vice President, as well as other department members and business unit partners to develop effective and cut-through communications

• Support the Brand and Creative studio leadership in studio operations, such as creative brief development, research, creative reviews, brand governance, and collaboration/knowledge management projects

• Conceive, research, write, and edit content and video features for internal and external channels

• Own and drive discrete studio projects as assigned by studio leadership

• Work with vendors and consultants as needed to support communications objectives

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in any form of communications, design, marketing, or content creation

• Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite preferred, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Capable of working independently and interdependently

• Ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate different global time zones

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or other related field.
Minimum five years of communications experience, preferably in marketing, corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications-related field.
