Senior Treasury Specialist, EME & Africa

A vacancy has arisen in the Treasury Department for a Senior Treasury Specialist. This position will report to the Treasury Manager.

 

Role Purpose:

 

The Senior Treasury Specialist, EME & Africa, provides operational and analytical support to each of the five core areas covered by Treasury:

  • Cash and Debt Management

  • Bank Account Administration and Bank Relationship Management

  • Foreign Exchange Risk Management

  • Corporate Card Program Administration

  • Intercompany Loan Maintenance and Management

Key Responsibilities:
 

The Senior Treasury Specialist, EME & Africa is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the appropriate level of liquidity is available to legal entities within the EME group and Africa

  • Maintaining regional banking relationships and supporting relevant financing structures and accounts as required

  • Managing FX risk and working with Corporate Treasury to control FX risks and hedge the net exposure

  • Supporting cash flow forecasting activities and providing analysis as requested by Treasury management

  • Maintaining and supporting the regional intercompany loan structure

  • Administering the regional corporate card program and supporting local administrators and cardholders with queries

  • Supporting the monthly accounting requirements for all of the above

  • Identifying opportunities for more efficient Treasury processes and implementing these within the department

While the above is not an exhaustive list, it is expected that the Senior Treasury Specialist’s specific responsibilities will rotate with the other Senior Treasury Specialists on the team to equitably distribute group workload.

Skills & Experience:
 

  • Proven experience in a corporate Treasury department or bank, or proven experience in a senior accounting or finance role

  • Treasury qualifications preferred but not essential

  • People management experience preferred but not essential
