Job Summary

Looking for an opportunity to work for one of the world’s largest food service companies and influence a Fortune 5 tech company’s food program? If you’re looking for a challenging, strategy driven, innovative work environment with one of our top global clients, this role is for you! This role is to be based in either Seattle, WA or Washington, DC.

The Senior Project Manager position, reporting into the SVP Global Strategy & Operations, will empower and align teams with the knowledge, tools and processes needed to deliver a “Best in Class” food program for a Fortune 5 tech company. This Senior Manager role offers an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure leading a small team to drive impactful enterprise wide business initiatives with a Top 5 tech partner. Specifically, the Senior Project Manager will lead all aspects of projects touching any combination of food service, enterprise wide process change and/or large scale solution delivery across 100+ campuses throughout the country. Each project is carefully selected to achieve a significant return for our clients and the company. A successful candidate will lead the complete life cycle of key projects and drive vital change throughout.

Responsibilities:
•    Define project scope, goals and results that support business goals in collaboration with all stakeholders, including senior executives, sponsors, business owners and field operations
•    Document and analyze information and processes to solve critical business issues
•    Build and manage (directly and indirectly) teams to meet the resource needs required of each project
•    Build and implement end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
•    Proactively communicate project details across all levels of the organization and across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner
•    Coordinate project activities between team members, while enhancing efficiency to achieve project goals
•    Build internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the project
•    Resolve and/or advance issues in a timely fashion
•    Identify, assess and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle
•    Create and maintain all project documentation pertinent to the project, including but not limited to, meeting notes, status reports, work plans, presentations
•    Understand team dynamics and adapt project management methodology as needed to ensure project success
•    Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change; identify flaws in logic or assumption errors
•    Improve department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to contribute to job accomplishments
•    Assist in developing project management standard methodologies 
•    Update job knowledge by participating in informative opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
 

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    Graduate degrees preferred – MBA/ CPA /MSOD
•    PMP and/or Lean Sigma certifications preferred
•    Proven track record to define and implement change strategies
•    Proven ability to influence and manage external resources in a highly matrix’ d environment
•    Proven ability address opposing priorities within a single project with a positive, can-do demeanor
•    Proven business analytical capabilities to solve sophisticated business issues
•    Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to connect with all levels of the organization
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office/project management programs (Smartsheet)
•    Travel as needed (less than 25%)
