Orbital ATK is currently seeking a Senior Principal GNC Engineer to join our Launch Vehicles team in our Chandler, AZ office. Active Security clearance is preferred. US citizenship is required.

Role description & Responsibilities:

The Senior Principal GNC Engineer will perform analysis, design, or test of missile autopilot systems. Generally, work under engineering leads. Analyze control systems utilizing Matlab and Simulink applications. Perform trajectory development and simulation in C++.

Education & Experience Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of related experience.
• The position may be filled one level lower requiring a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and 7 years of related experience.
• Experience in coding C++ and proficiency in Matlab.
• Preferred candidate will have experience in trajectory development and simulation in C++.
