Job Summary

 

We are seeking a Senior General Manager to lead the five-star dining program in an upscale medical center located in the Manhattan, NY marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the retail and patient food services programs
  • Manages the departmental budget ensuring compliance & responsible for all analysis, financial reporting, and quarterly business reviews
  • Leadership for the culinary, retail, and patient service teams providing full cycle management including onboarding, training, growth & development, accountability, and KPI’s
  • Promotes an environment reflective of diversity, inclusion, and overall positive morale
  • Serves as the key liaison and primary relationship owner with the client
  • Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, accrediting agencies to include The Joint Commission, as well as facility confidentiality , HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies
  • Leads departmental patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Programs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, strongly preferred
  • Licensed by the NY State Dietetics Licensing Board
  • Five (5) plus years’ experience in a leadership role
  • Master’s Degree, preferred
  • Must have a strong financial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be customer service driven
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
  • Excellent stress management skills, follow-through, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Experience with CBORD, strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office applications, electronic, medical record systems, and nutrient analysis programs
