Our Sales teams at HARMAN are working hard every day to develop and execute our global sales strategy, with a primary focus placed on driving demand for our products with existing and potential customers. We pride ourselves on being results driven and customer focused. At HARMAN, our sales teams work in different capacities for our divisions and functions.
- Car Audio: Sales teams are responsible for supporting the promotion and sale of our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) car audio branded systems, such as speakers, amplifiers, Halsosonic technology and microphones, while also supporting aftermarket businesses with product sell through.
- Consumer Audio: You might recognize our brands like JBL and AKG. Our sales teams work with big box/ mainstream consumer stores to sell our headphones, speakers and other products. Within this group, we also have teams that support local businesses to sell luxury home audio products, like those associated with our Mark Levinson and Revel brands.
- Professional Solutions: Our team works to establish, build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in multiple industries, like corporate, education, government, live sound & touring and hospitality, to drive demand and sell our professional integrated audio, video, lighting, and control systems solutions.
- Connected Car: In our sales organization, our teams are working together with our internal stakeholders to close deals on a broad range of our product portfolio. Our work in business development, account management, sell through and sales operations allows our teams to directly contribute to HARMAN’s revenue.
The individual context of work can vary across the organization. On any given day, our teams could be; conducting data collection and analysis in order to efficiently project and plan sales interactions, generating leads, creating education resources to promote sales programs and conducting business to manage relationships with current and potential customers.
