Job Summary

  • Develop, implement and project manage the execution of retail marketing plans for a portfolio of accounts to drive like for like sales.
  • Lead the execution of marketing support for all Ontario new account openings
  • Champion the implementation of Compass and sector-wide strategic priorities, including beverage strategy, internal brands and merchandising best practices.
  • Identify and implement unit-specific opportunities and recommendations for marketing initiatives to drive transactions, average cheque and LFL sales
  • Govern the execution of unit-level marketing and brand execution and provide coaching to address non-compliance
  • Engage with key cross-functional stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment and facilitate retail execution
  • Responsible for conducting monthly reporting and analysis of all in-unit marketing activity, including marketing initiative post-analyses, to identify actionable opportunities.



  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, General Business or Arts
  • Minimum 1-3 years of consumer and/or retail marketing experience
  • Previous category management or retail merchandising experience, including implementing planograms
  • Experience managing new retail openings or complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in QSR/food service preferred
  • Strong problem solving and quantitative skills
  • Experience with planograms and merchandising a requirement
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Strong marketing and digital acumen
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Must have a vehicle and valid drivers license
  • Ability to travel (60 to 70%)
