Join us as  Retail Marketing Manager in Consumer Experience Team. The role will be responsible for development of the insight-based shopper marketing solutions for Retail Environments (RE) and Customers to build volume, market share, and category growth for Colgate’s business. Also, will be responsible for touch point expertise and activity grid implementation, including new product Go to Market, for designated brands and categories.

 

RETAIL MARKETING MANAGER

(Consumer Experience Team)

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Category / RE Strategy & Customer engagement

  • Works with the Consumer Experience Team in the Hub on localizing brand strategies, agreeing annual activity grid and new products Go to Market

  • Develops 5P category & brand strategies and tactics by RE and Customer 

  • Builds expertise on shopper insights and category growth drivers

 

Local Commercial Activation

  • Develops shopper marketing programs by brand, RE and Customer, linked to the full ACPL brand plan

  • Implements new products Go to Market 

  • Develops impactful and relevant merchandising materials and tools / presentations for the Sales Team to execute the plans

  • Conducts pre and post analyses of promotions and recommends the adjustments of business plans to drive improved ROI across all types of trade spendings

  • Supports the area of in-store management, including 5P’s communication to the Merchandisers and Field Team, excellence in store execution and 5P’s monitoring

 

Financial accountabilities

  • Delivers budgeted category & brand Market Share, Net Sales & Operating Profit for designed categories and brands 

  • Coordinates overall pricing plans and margin growth

  • Supports the Sales Team to deliver customer-specific P&Ls

  • Executes promotional budget within guidelines

 

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Experience: approximately 3 years experience in (Retail) Marketing and/or Category Management within FMCG industry

  • Data analytics: ability to evaluate and digest large amounts of data, identify insights and opportunities, propose solutions

  • Communication & collaboration: ability to play with the team, build strong trusted relationships internally and externally to drive action and progress.

  • High organization and influence: ability to influence people and build consensus at all levels of the organization, high motivation and goal orientation, ability to manage work under stress

  • Minimum of BA degree, preferably Marketing or Business

  • Very good English
