Performs a variety of highly skilled technical procedures in the application of cardiac ultrasound for the imaging of normal and abnormal structures of the human body. Provides care and services to patients of all ages. Must be able to work independently. Sonographers with both adult and pediatric echo registries have the opportunity to received additional compensation. Sign on bonus of up to $10,000 and relocation assistance of up to $4,000 is available.

Education: Associates degree in a clinical discipline required. Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience: Three years experience as a echocardiographer preferred. Experience in TTE and Stress Echocardiography preferred; additional TEE experience preferred. Experience working in or monitoring a lab with IAC accreditation preferred; experience as Technical Director of an echo lab preferred.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Registered Technologist with RVT credentials. AHA BLS-HCP certification. Echo Department: Registered Sonographer with RDCS or RCS credentials.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and team work skills required. Computer skills helpful. Strong problem solving skills. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.
