Your Impact
- Act as Technical Lead to achieve production/manufacturing targets; lead and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with Operations, Engineering and Materials teams; provide direct problem solving support to the production and quality functions
- Support development of new product and engineering designs; support manufacturing change management as the point of contact/liaison between product engineering and production management
- Develop, validate, and maintain manufacturing cost standards on existing products, as well as new product introduction; communicate relevant technical information, including projects & results, to all levels of the organization; support investigation of customer complaints and troubleshooting of warranty/customer return items
- Lead projects to increase operational efficiency (OEE) and waste reduction/standard work (LEAN); document and maintain work instructions (including setup and changeovers)
- Responsible for documentation and design of all jigs and fixtures in assigned area(s)
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or Technical Field
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an Engineering role within a manufacturing environment; experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers or distributors
- Experience with Electrical Assembly processes, Mechanical Assembly processes and metal fabrication
- Design experience with tooling/fixtures/jigs; working knowledge of machine control interfaces (PLC/HMI); proficient computer skills, including MS Office, Visio, Auto-Cad or Pro-E.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
