About the Role
The QA Automation and Performance IT Team Manager in our Quality Assurance group is a key role managing, maturing and providing
strategic leadership in our Test Automation and Performance Testing areas. This role offers an opportunity to grow your skills in areas of quality assurance, leadership, technology and team-building. You should have a high level of experience with implementing and delivering quality software with modern Test Automation and Performance testing practices.
Our Test Automation uses Selenium and Appium frameworks with LoadRunner as the Performance Testing tool. This is a player/coach opportunity with both IT Team Manager and with individual contributor roles.

You will lead the organization within the five pillars of IT: 1) Strategy, 2) Project Execution, 3) Financial Planning, 4) Process Improvement and Governance, and 5) Talent. Your goals and objectives will tie back directly to these pillars. You will be part of an exciting and ongoing digital transformation within BOK Financial with a long-term focus.
You will build and lead a team of direct reports (both employee and contractors) to support the needs of BOKF. You will partner with vendors, QA resources, project managers, software development and other IT partners. We are early in our test automation maturity so you will drive how to mature and expand it across BOKF.

How You’ll Spend Your Time
- You will oversee the ongoing execution, governance and maturity of the automation and performance testing areas.
- You will facilitate the reporting of your portfolio for executive and stakeholder audiences using scorecards, metrics, and measures to demonstrate progress and promote alignment.
- You will partner with leadership and project teams to understand their needs and provide guidance on how automation or performance testing can be achieved on their applications.
- You will lead in the development of the test strategies, develop and execute scripts and then document the results to discuss with the project team.
- You will manage work assignments and utilize our vendor partners (onshore and offshore) when outside assistance is needed to supplement staff.
- You will work closely with your project teams to make sure any roadblocks are resolved.
- You will facilitate meetings when necessary and be comfortable addressing an audience that might include some executives.
- You will recruit, motivate, develop, and retain the very best technical talent.
- You collaborate with IT Leadership during budget and/or project planning to ensure staffing levels are accurately represented.

Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field and 7-10 years of directly related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
