About the Role

You will primarily be responsible for researching the financing needs of our tax-exempt municipal clients. You will work within multiple sectors such as healthcare, housing, airports, transportation, school districts, and local and state-specific municipalities. Your role is critical in leveraging the growth of the Bank’s public finance activities.

What You Can Expect

Not one day will be the same. You will develop specific financial models using various financial products and software. You will prepare presentations of those results and coordinate with legal and senior banking professionals to deliver financing solutions to the Bank’s clients.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • You will develop financial models based on clients’ needs using available products.
  • You will draft, edit, and organize responses to formal solicitations (for Request For Proposals) by state and local governments. 
  • You will ensure data is updated and inputted into DBC Finance software and other relevant tools. 
  • You will review and analyze legal documents and maintain client/prospect files.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of financial analysis or investment banking work experience.
