As a Systems Engineer you provide pre-sales support of Keysight’s Network Visibility Solutions represented via the Network Visibility and Test Solution Group. You are responsible for the development of professional relationships with key customers, support and management of sales representatives and distribution partners currently engaged with key customers within the whole EMEA region. Among other tasks, you are specifically focused on the following:

  • Assist the sales team in executing sales strategies through pre-sales support 
  • Regular customer visits and discovery across the EMEA region
  • Preparation of network visibility solutions prior to on-site demonstration, evaluation and POC’s with focus on network design and network optimization.
  • Delivering on-site demonstration, evaluation and POC’s, helping with automating these solutions and occasionally executing Professional Services tasks, as well as answering complex RFI’s and RFQ’s and establish BoM (bill of material)
  • Acting as Trusted Advisor for customers, designing solutions, or execute related evaluations and assessments
  • Involvement in formal product presentations to customers 
  • Maintain constant relationships with the IST (Industry Solution Teams) and COE (Center of Excellence – Product Management) teams

This role can be based anywhere in Germany and will support the wider DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland region). 

Job Qualifications

  • 5 + years customer facing pre-sales experience or similar with great customer facing skills; builds credibility and confidence in Keysight’s service offerings
  • Collaborative and cross-functional style; works with sales, development and marketing teams to help in growing services business.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present Keysight solutions and new technologies at trade shows/conferences etc.
  • Technically competent in multiple relevant areas of technology such as; Datacenter, Virtualization and Cloud and extensive knowledge of network design and optimization.
  • Knowledge of competitive Solutions products and technologies such as Gigamon, Cubro, Viavi, Cisco or similar solutions, as well as solutions from technology partners covering the whole network optimization and analyzing landscape
  • Programming skills using REST, Python, Pearl, Ruby
  • Practical trouble-shooter of complex technical problems
  • Excellent initiative and ability to align broad strategic and tactical goals
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (German and English fluent)
  • Valid EU driving license
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering (Telecom, Computer Science or similar)
