We are now recruiting for a Production Team Leader to join our Manufacturing team at our bottling site in Avonmouth, Bristol on an 18-month fixed term contract. In this role you will be the lead member of a multi-disciplined packaging team operating a high performing production line taking full ownership and accountability for product quality and line performance. You will be empowered to achieve continuous improvement in performance through challenge and innovation, and drive active participation of the team in the lean culture, operational philosophy and good manufacturing practices. 

Our production team operate on an annualised shift pattern (working days and nights: 7am-7pm/ 7pm-7am).

Key responsibilities include:

•    Lead and guide the packaging team owning the communication and alignment of priorities and labour deployment 
•    Drive the team’s personal development by setting goals and completing regular one to one meetings
•    Lead hourly and 6 hourly Short Interval Control processes and generate appropriate countermeasures
•    Operate assigned equipment and plant ensuring optimum line performance is achieved
•    Ensure the quality plan is executed by all Team Members and actively engage in continuous improvements to improve line efficiency
•    Ensure critical machine settings are maintained and serviced and identify and rectify running faults

What you’ll bring:

•    Ability to build strong relationships 
•    Strong leadership skills
•    Experience of an operational role with packaging machinery or similar
•    Ability to identify and implement business improvement techniques
