About the role

We are now recruiting for Operations Technician to join our End of Line team at our bottling site in Avonmouth, Bristol on an 18-month fixed term contract. In this position you will take a lead role within the team and ensure the manufacturing department is supplied with the correct quantity of material. 

Our production team operate on an annualised shift pattern (working days and nights: 7am-7pm/ 7pm-7am). 

Key responsibilities include:

•    Understand material specifications and identify and rectify any issues that arise 
•    Lead quality within the team, carrying out associated testing on line and assist in administration of quality records including rework, RFT, complaints and unsaleable stock
•    Operate FLT’s and IT systems to ensure optimum performance is achieved
•    Enter relevant data into business system interfaces (JDE, MIS, Red Prairie etc)
•    Operate within a lean philosophy ensuring continuous improvements across all areas of business processes are achieved

    What you’ll bring:

    •    Ideally you will have experience working in an operational role within a Warehouse, End of Line or Packaging environment 
    •    Ideally hold a fork-lift truck license
    •    GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English 
    •    You will be willing to learn and work effectively as part of a team
