Role: New Business Relationship Manager, Capital Markets

 

Location: Cork or Limerick/Hybrid

 

This role is being offered on a permanent basis.

 

Summary of role:

Business Banking is a key strategic business unit within Capital Markets delivering a pro-active customer centric operating model. The skills and capabilities within the Unit will comprise of relationship skills, sector, industry and market expertise and centres of excellence focused on strategy, service, value add, efficiency, performance and portfolio management.

 

Business Banking will also leverage off the wider product and service offering within Capital Markets and from across AIB to provide additional value for more enduring and sustainable business relationship and ultimately developing long term Strategic Partnerships with our customers.  

Our ambition is to be the best Bank in the market at supporting medium size business customer and ultimately to back our customers in achieving their dreams and ambitions.

 

An opportunity now exists for a Business Relationship Manager to work on the New Business Team which involves managing and developing new business customers across a number of industries.  This role will afford the successful candidate with an opportunity to enhance their customer relationship, credit and negotiation skills.

You will need to show us that you can/have:

  1. A significant proven level of credit experience including a leading role in deal negotiation, credit application preparation, presentation to Credit Committee and fulfilment.
  2. Strong customer relationship management experience to include commercial negotiation, portfolio management, risk management and customer / business development.
  3. Proven ability to build and develop strong and collaborative relationships –  both internally and externally
  4. Proven track record of managing and delivering stretching targets – including new business acquisition.
  5. Professional Accounting Qualification preferable and QFA held
