Network Security Engineer


Job Summary: 

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join the Global Information Security Office team building, executing, and implementing network security initiatives throughout AGCO. The Engineer ensures that our network implementations are designed, implemented, and maintained to secure standards thus maintaining and enhancing AGCO’s security posture. The Network Security Engineer works closely with the Network Engineering, Manufacturing, Global IT, and Operations teams to secure our network and environment. Position has an opportunity for remote work. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Support security environments such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), SD-WAN, virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, related security and network devices and cloud infrastructures. 

  • Assist in identifying security gaps with proposed or existing solutions while evaluating and recommending enhancements. 

  • Lead manufacturing ICS/SCADA network security reviews and assessments. 

  • Develop and integrate Zero Trust network security strategies. 

  • Assist the network engineering team with identifying and prioritizing remediation of vulnerabilities and secure configuration issues. 

  • Enhance the effectiveness of the global security team by the creation and delivery of security solutions. 

  • Assist with creating and maintaining AGCO’s security policies and standards. 

  • Incorporate threat intelligence and make it actionable. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 


What You Will Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field of study with 4+ years of relevant networking security experience; OR 8+ years of relevant networking security experience without a degree. 

  • CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant security certifications. 

  • Strong knowledge of secure network practices and security methodologies. 

  • Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, Linux), and security technologies (endpoint security, DLP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.). 

  • Understanding and experience working with application programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, Perl, Shell), as well as Regular Expressions. 

  • Experience with enterprise architecture and working as part of a cross-functional team to implement solutions. 

  • Technical writing experience. 

  • Possess high standard of integrity and confidentiality.
