Role Details

The National Cellar Door Administrator provides administrative support for the National Cellar Door Manager and team as required. The role involves frequent communication and interaction with staff and external parties, and exposure to and handling of sensitive information. The incumbent applies a broad range of administrative skills and demonstrates the ability to exercise judgement, initiative, confidentiality, and independence, working collaboratively with other staff to ensure common processes and practices are implemented and applied.

Your Key Accountabilities

• Deliver exception administrative support service to internal customers (Cellar Door Managers and their teams) and ensure customer satisfaction is in line with benchmark Accolade Wines’ expectations and KPIs
• Liaise with suppliers, generate purchase orders, raise requisitions, receipt stock, and input to accounting system
• Liaise with Cellar Door Managers to develop and maintain up to date and accurate sales, requisitions, and other records
• Provide timely and accurate administration support for the Cellar Door team
• Liaise with internal and external customers on resolution of issues and enquiries
• Identify opportunities within current work practices to deliver improvement and implement efficiencies
• Coordinate issues resolution and identify any potential issues to resolve with the Cellar Door team
• Assist the National Cellar Door Coordinator with cellar door support activities including staff inductions and implementation of the SEQ system,
• Conduct financial administration duties including cross-matching of payments to invoices, resolving till imbalances, and applying credits


Other Accountabilities Include

• Participate in ad hoc projects as and when required
• Actively participate in half yearly and annual reviews
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external and internal customers
• Work effectively as part of a team, collaborate with the Cellar Door team, and attend regular team meetings and training as required
• Participate in the ongoing development, implementation and review of the Cellar Door retail operations

Your Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, customer service software)
• Proficient in the use of JDE or a similar ERP/accounting system
• Pleasant phone manner
• Team work and cooperation

• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to network and maintain sound relationships internally and externally

Essential Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a customer service or sales administration role
• Experience working in a front-line cellar door role (highly desirable)

Physical and Other Requirements

• No formal qualification required, however a qualification in administration or customer service is an advantage
