The position will work in the Global Crop Care Product Management team with a focus on Crop Protection and Nutrient Management in North America. This includes the North America based sprayer line that is distributed both domestically and internationally, with a focus on product strategy, life cycle management and customer return on investment delivery. To accomplish this, the position will work closely with the Customer Experience Team, Precision Ag & Digital, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing including interfacing with distributors and customers across regions and product segments to ensure that market trends and customer requirements are clearly reflected in product strategy and specifications.
Laser focus on clear and concise North America Crop Protection and Nutrient Management product strategy, road-mapping and priorities defining customer value that has positive impact on Net Farm Income. -Customer representative in all North America based Sprayer and Floater NPI programs, including SMART projects -Decision maker on customer experience deliverables for Crop Protection and Crop Nutrition Management NPI programs that impact North America products or solutions -Definition and alignment of farmer relevant personas for benchmarking and engagement to determine areas of NPI program development -Focus on partnering with farmers for input on pain-points, expected farm outcomes and improving ROI -Participate in on-farm prototype testing and field trials with the agronomy and engineering teams to collect farmer feedback and additional farm outcome challenges -Participate in new lean/ empowered Smart Ag delivery teams with a Fail Fast approach
Bachelor Degree, Previous Marketing, Product support, Project Management, or Product Management experience. Must have good working knowledge of global farming practices with a focus on application equipment and precision Ag technology associated with Crop Protection and Nutrient Management. Agronomic experience is preferred but not an absolute requirement.
