Position Summary

Lead the Project Management team to create, maintain and execute critical path schedules as it relates to the annual core marketing plan, customer journey’s and digital communications. Work across various cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and rollout of projects/programs to drive business results, and marketing KPI’s while remaining on time and on budget. Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee various marketing projects and develop plans from project ideation to execution
  • Oversee and develop the project managers in creating, managing and ensuring execution of project plans including identification of cross-functional team members, key project deliverables, milestones, dependencies and risk mitigation
  • Lead cross collaboration with media and creative agencies to develop holistic timeline, key milestones, project stage gates and critical paths
  • Develop communication and documentation framework to manage program and project risk, mitigation plans, in order to escalate decisions and unresolved issues to senior leadership as needed
  • Manage and facilitate strong, clear and ongoing communication across the project team and key stakeholders
  • Lead efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths
  • Oversee project delivery process with key contributors to help manage scope and change
  • Utilize team and roadmap metrics to drive a continuous feedback cycle for process improvement
  • Gather feedback from teams and contribute to process evolution
  • Document and formalize program plans with actual and forecasts and manage deviations from plan and project parameters
  • Ensure all program and project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented and vigorously pursued to deliver the final product
  • Deliver to time and cost within agreed tolerances for projects/programs
  • Provide leadership for project managers and stakeholders and apply conflict resolution skills to resolve program and project issues

  • Minimum Position Qualifications

  • PMP Certification or willingness to obtain
  • 5+ years of full SDLC project management experience
  • Any experience delivering large and/or complex projects across matrixed organization
  • Any project management leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns for consistent brand and customer experience across omni-channel platforms
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies (both Agile and Waterfall)
  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget
  • Proven problem solving and superb organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to stakeholders and to all levels of seniority
  • Desired Previous Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, computer science or related discipline
  • Any experience working for large, multi-channel retailer or technology/marketing automation organization (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce)
