Job Summary

The Logistics Technician is part of a small team of Warehouse/Logistics Technicians at our Charles River Microbial Solutions site in Kaarst, Germany. The main tasks of this position are receiving raw materials, packaging material for production and laboratories, receiving samples for the laboratories, national/international dispatching of reagents and laboratory instruments as well as general warehouse activities.

Job Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Education:  Completed vocational training as a logistics specialist or equivalent. Many years of experience can be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific training and experience mentioned above.
  • Experience:     At least 1 year in warehousing and transport
  • Certifications/Licences: Class B driving licence
  • Other: Knowledge of written and spoken German (C2 level), knowledge of written and spoken English (C2 level), good IT skills and use of common Microsoft Office package, good spatial awareness/thinking

Preferrable qualifications:

  • Class C driving license
  • Forklift license

Workplace requirements:  Precise work, Ability to concentrate , Physical resilience
