The Role

Lumen’s Corporate Finance team is looking to hire a talented and highly motivated Lead Financial Analyst.

 

Design and analyze forecasting models used to support total company forecasting activities.  Work cross functionally on key business transformation initiatives. Draw heavily on financial acumen and system skills to provide financial analysis and support for key decision-making.

 

Joins a high performing and trusted Corporate Finance team.  Focused on continuous improvement towards a more dynamic and connected planning process.  This position will play a critical role supporting the team's ability to be the trusted financial advisors of the company and providing key business insights to the executive team.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Support forecasting activities and develop key metrics to monitor forecast accuracy
  • Support key initiatives to drive finance transformation
  • Develop executive reports leveraging tools to automate and drive continuous improvements
  • Support development of executive level materials  
  • Other special projects providing wide-ranging decision support on corporate finance activities

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Business, Economics, and/or Accounting preferred)
  • 3-5 years of progressive responsibility and experience in financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting, capital markets and financial statements
  • Advanced financial modeling and experience in creating and designing complex driver-based models 
  • Experience with Anaplan, Power BI, Hyperion Essbase is preferred
  • Ability to manage high levels of complexity while maintaining attention to detail
  • Confidence under pressure, able to deal with ambiguity across a continuously evolving, fast-pace business
  • Agile and flexible to manage multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines and reset priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary Range
Salary Min $71460         Salary Max $159120 

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
