Software Developer – IT Developer I  

Who We Are Looking For:
The IT Developer I role is responsible for the developing implementations of functionalities for a specific set of products in the Fuse IoT software portfolio (  He/she will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the product(s), following an Agile and DevOps focused development process.  He/she will be involved in developing functionality of both new Fuse products as well as existing Fuse products, ensuring alignment with technical long-term roadmaps as laid out by the Architects. 


This position is available for remote work.


What You Will Do:

  • Develop and document code that is secure and uses best design practices based on requirements provided.
  • Leverage DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, test, and promote new or updated features and provide support for applications in production to maintain uptime. 
  • Participate in Agile team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration, and team retrospectives.
  • Monitor and provide responsive action to issues maintaining high-level internal customer satisfaction to required service level performance measures, through the successful resolution of customer requests/issues/change.



What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering degree with 1+ years of relevant Software Development experience
  • Experience using Git and working with CI/CD toolchains.
  • 1+ years of experience working in software development of systems at scale, using streaming technologies and Java or Python and accompanying unit test frameworks.
  • Understanding of Internet and cloud architecture (AWS preferred), with a focus on IoT (Internet of Things).
  • Understanding of Enterprise integration patterns and implementation.
  • Understanding of Agile software methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple demanding tasks or assignments.
  • Experience writing unit tests for code a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps processes a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Knowledge of different testing methodologies is a plus.
