International Paper, a world leader in industrial packaging, is currently seeking candidates for the position of General Help at its Hazleton, PA Container Plant.
Candidates must be willing to work a five day work week, as well as daily and weekend overtime. Openings are for 2nd shift (4 p.m. to midnight) and 3rd shift (midnight to 8 a.m.).
Prior to initiating employment, all candidates will be required to take an operations test, structured panel interview, background check, physical/ drug screen.
Compensation includes a starting wage of $20.03 for the probationary period. After that wages are increased based on the job you do. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, pension plan and a 401(k) plan. This is a great opportunity for someone to start a career.

Specific responsibilities include running machines, reading factory orders, basic data-entry skills on a computer, accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, counting and stacking product, accurately completing quality and administrative documents, following directions, monitoring and moving stock through the production area, and other duties as needed. Physical abilities require moving up to 50 pounds, pushing stacks of corrugated sheets and standing for 8 hours. Overtime hours required.
