A role with Deloitte’s Canadian Delivery Centre is an opportunity to work on impactful projects, leverage state-of-the-art technologies, and develop your analytical thinking and business management skills.

What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Full Stack Developer within the Deloitte team, you will help drive the design and delivery of various applications. You will work with a dynamic team of developers, business analysts and consultants to implement and maintain applications for our clients end-to-end.  You will also provide expertise on how to build applications from the ground up on latest and greatest tech, and/or how to augment existing assets to maximize value to our clients.

About the team

 

Within our Canadian Delivery Centre (CDC), you will have the opportunity to leverage: user-centric thinking, design capabilities, new technologies and cloud solutions that are most in demand by our clients. You  will also gain expertise in Deloitte’s methodologies, work with a team of talented consultants, and as part of an end-to-end delivery build compelling digital experiences with a focus on channels such as web and mobile.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone who has: 

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 2+ years post graduate experience, preferably in client-facing consulting roles
  • 2+ years experience with back-end technologies ranging from: Python, Java/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Rails
  • 1-2 years experience with front-end technologies ranging from: HTML, CSS, React / Angular, Next.js etc.
  • Hands on experience working on Cloud Platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience in agile development environments, including ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint planning
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Evaluating client incident / break-fix tickets and providing assistance to Support Teams
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with other to solve problems, share knowledge, and can work well independently as well as within a highly collaborative team
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Github and an understanding of how they integrate with tools such as JIRA.
