General Summary 

The company has set a goal of 30% of the entire fleet being EV by 2030, however, there is a strong desire to accelerate this transition as part of the Clean Energy Plan and corporate sustainablity breakthrough goals. This position will lead planning and assist with strategy development via internal fleet concierge analyses with outside consultants, organize EV test vehicle trials and procurement with a variety of manufacturers, author reports and presentations for senior leadership and external audiences regarding company EV strategy, and lead efforts to ensure employees are prepared for the EV transition (culturally, operationally, and with infrastructure) so that all employees can be positive ambassadors in the EV space.This position will also audit Fleet’s corporate policies, including, but not limited to Employee Assigned Vehicle Program and vehicle mileage policy for risk and author appropriate and ethical revisions as nessesary. In addition to above, this position will provide witness support in both Gas and Electric MPSC rate case filings.   


Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Accelerated Fleet electrification transition planning and strategy development. 
  • Internal employee change management regarding transportation electrification. 
  • Leadership and external stakeholder presentations and supporting materials. Including EEI and other industry/utility committee participation. 
  • Coordination of learnings with PowerMIFleet team to assist external customer fleet electrification 
  • Coordination of charging stations to EV location with appropriate business partners 
  • Auditing and updating Fleet Corporate policies 
  • Provide witness support for both Gas and Electric rate case 
  • Other non-essential duties as assigned or may be necessary. 



  • Electric Vehicle operation and market availability to match operational requirements 
  • Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure and logistics 
  • Change management and presentation skills 
  • Fleet regulatory and compliance. Corporate Fleet policies 
  • Fleet strategy 


Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree – degree in Business and/or Engineering preferred 
  • 8 years’ experience in Vehicle Alternatives Fuels and/or EV
