Export Customer Service Executive

About the role and location

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Export Customer Service Executive  to join our Customer Services team  at The Park site close to the M5 near Bristol on an 18 month fixed term contract. 

About the role – Key Accountabilities

In this role you will be responsible for the processing and management of export orders from receipt of order through to delivery and beyond. Ensuring
orders are processed in-line with customer requirements and internal SLAs whilst maintaining and developing customer relationships. 

  • Processing and management of customer orders from receipt through to despatch and beyond. 
  • To regularly communicate with customers, vendors and key stakeholders updating on progress throughout the process. 
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships ensuring a collaborative approach.
  • Being first point of contact for any issues that arise, completing RCA and putting in preventative measures.
  • Creation of NES and EMCS documentation through customs & excise platforms.
  • To scan and store any third party documentation within the shipment orders.
  • To ensure documentation is processed accurately to distribute to customers in timely manner  (email or courier depending on customer’s requirements).
  • Maintain customer shipment records including all relevant correspondence pertaining to the order, especially for Audit purposes.
  • To assist with other team members when on leave to ensure productivity continues

About you

You will be able to demonstrate experience in customer order management and relationship building. Knowledge of export documentation is desirable but not essential. 
You will be well organised , team orientated and able to perform well under pressure. 
You will be an excellent communicator, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs.

You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel between the Bristol and Weybridge sites, if required.
