The Role at a Glance:

As an Analyst, Business Systems Analysis for Enrollment Technology, you will be responsible for building, quality testing & validating cases on our internal electronic enrollment platform, as well as third party vendor platforms.  Collaboration with vendor partners is the key to understanding the system requirements and testing that is required for data management and a successful enrollment.  You will also be responsible for setting up Evidence of Insurability links and help support Single Sign-On Connections. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Quality test & validate all cases end to end that are built on a 3rd party electronic enrollment platform.
  • May assist in the build & support of Single Sign-On connections for Evidence of Insurability.
  • Will build customers on our EOI/Claims portals.
  • May build out API connections for EOI decision reports.
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for enrollment technology, assess the impact, and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within enrollment technology team & organization.
  • Serve as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for enrollment technology.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for our team & organization.
  • Consult/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Consult and collaborate with internal and/or external stakeholders to determine more complex technical specifications from business requirements as it relates to electronic enrollment builds.
  • Develop more complex technical solution requirements for QA’s on 3rd party enrollment platforms.
  • Using structured requirements process, clearly articulates, document and validate more complex technical requirements.
  • Consult and act as a resource to appropriate internal/external stakeholders to assess and deliver proposed more complex technical solutions which meet business requirements which may integrate process, business rules and business data with technology.
  • Collaborate effectively with appropriate stakeholders on more complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects.
  • Determine and recommend the most appropriate technical response to identified more complex problems, issues and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
  • Provide more complex technical research and analysis to support business operations needs and presents findings to management or project leader.
  • Determine more complex IT best practices and suggest how to improve current practices.
  • Escalate more complex issues/conflicts to management as needed.
  • Serve as a mentor and share knowledge with junior team members.
  • Provide a more complex understanding the business usage of information technology (IT) and helping technology add value to the business.
  • May develop more complex test plans and perform testing as needed.

What we’re looking for:


  • 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s) 
  • 0 – 1+ Years of reviewing and analyzing multiple complex data sources and document data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies. 
  • 0 – 1+ Years of developing and maintaining data models and associated metadata to be forward engineered on the respective database platform. 
  • 3 – 5+ Years of experience in business systems analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)



  • Experience with API, SSO, 3rd party enrollment/Ben Admin platforms
