  • We are now hiring for an EAST COAST PRODUCT SUPPORT SPECIALISTposition.
  • Location:   This is a 100% remote position.  Anywhere in the United States; however east coast or central regions are preferred.  Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule:  Primarily Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm eastern time.
  • Details:  We’re looking for an East Coast Product Support Specialist to join our small but mighty Product Team in supporting our chefs and managers in utilizing our various technology products. You’ll also get the chance to exercise your creative and organizational side by helping us build and maintain our stock of digital assets.
  • Requirement:  Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, comfortable working within a structured ticketing support system (Jira).  Must have tech support experience.  Digital asset management experience preferred. 1-3 years of related experience. Customer service-oriented.

Job Summary

 
Key Responsibilities:

Product Support – Digital Signage, Cafebonappetit.com, Menu Mail, and Café Manager (75%)
•    Manage the Product Team Jira Help Desk and CBA-Admin email and respond to support requests in a timely manner
•    Troubleshoot device issues and investigate potential product bugs 
•    Assist with ticket-writing as well as testing features and bug fixes 
•    Work with field operators on digital signage installations and device purchases
•    Schedule/post-national content and promotions on cafebonappetit.com
•    Craft and edit product documentation 
•    Participate in training activities including one-on-one live sessions as well as creating written/visual guidance and videos
•    Support administrative aspects of product management such as maintaining organizational systems and participating in accounting procedures
•    Special projects as assigned

Asset Management (25%) 
•    Manage and maintain asset management system, facilitate asset approvals, and standardize workflows 
•    Work with stakeholders to develop, document, and maintain tagging and keyword schemas
•    Regularly curate and audit assets for brand adherence, relevance, and usage
•    Source, crop, and size stock photography for all digital products and various marketing and social media needs
•    Support team members in uploading and tagging of assets

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Ability to provide clear level-headed guidance when investigating difficult issues
•    A proactive communicator who understands the tenets of outstanding customer service
•    An analytical thinker who can dissect issues to provide creative solutions and efficient, strategic paths to resolution
•    Patience to work through bugs and device issues with folks that have varying levels of technological knowledge
•    Adaptive and extremely organized, with a penchant for improving systems and creating efficiencies
•    Tenacious and eager to learn new and sometimes challenging tasks and thought processes
•    Capable of working independently to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume workflow
•    Comfortable working within a structured ticketed support system (experience using Jira is a plus!)
•    Experience using WordPress.
•    Experience with, or interest in learning, web development terminology and processes
•    Familiarity with the functionality of devices such as Android tablets, Smart displays, chromeboxes, and Apple TVs
•    An understanding of basic internet/network structures
•    Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop for cropping, editing, and resizing images
•    An eye for color, layout, and design
•    Experience in a food service environment is a plus
•    Flexibility to support off-hours and weekend openings and installations, as needed
