Job Summary

***This position is a REMOTE Work Location anywhere in the Continental U.S. near a Major Airport due to position travel requirements***

The Technology Delivery Manager performs a consultant function between operators at client locations across the US and technology providers, ensuring state of the art ordering experiences for customers with efficient back of the house processing. This hands-on position supports strategic and tactical activities that must be balanced to achieve desired results.


  • Sets strategic direction for sector technology based upon client goals and returns for sector
  • Owns relationship with Compass Digital Labs, our internal digital technology team
  • Partners with operators to identify client problems technology can address
  • Assists operators to maximize technology benefits and create great experiences for users and operators
  • Develops support materials to enable operator utilization
  • Partners with operators to assess client’s technology needs
  • Proven ability to build and lead a diverse and inclusive team
  • Complete objectives and deliverables to align with company policy, organizational goals, and team strategic direction


  • Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant or retail operations experience preferred
    • Has a deep level of foodservice operations understanding, 
  • Proven experience with retail technology and terminology including point of sale systems, kitchen management systems, and Internet access technologies
  • Proven ability to present and influence technology options in a client facing environment
  • Service oriented collaborative approach to customer and peer relationships
  • Energetic self-starter able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentHighly developed sense of ownership, responsibility and commitment to qualityProven ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting deadlines
  • Ability to influence across multiple functions without direct supervisory authority 
  • Effective organization, planning, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Approximately 50% travel required, including weekends and some holidays
  • Remote Work Location Anywhere in the Continental U.S. near a Major airport
