Commercial Finance Specialist
Stoneleigh (Warks)


An opportunity has arisen to join the Finance department, reporting to the Director, Precision AG Profitability Reporting and Commercial Controlling.

The Commercial Finance Specialist role for Precision AG will be responsible for the accurate financial reporting of revenues and costs related to Precision AG products as well as well as analysis of the sales and margin of these products. The role will also assist in creating budgets/forecasts for Precision AG. 

To achieve this the role will work with regional finance teams to ensure correct accounting whilst developing an accurate and automated process to deliver timely financial reporting. The role will provide business support to Precision AG colleagues on routine sales and margin topics. 

Your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Ensure accurate reporting of financials in the OneStream financial reporting system.

  • Analysis of the sales and margin of Precision AG products.

  • Assist with the calculation and review of Precision AG budgets/forecasts in the OneStream financial reporting system.

  • Working with IT and other departments to automate the processes involved in producing the income statement.

  • Identify areas of improvement and work with local finance teams and IT to implement improvements.

  • Assisting in the presentation of financial information in various forms (Excel, pdf, PowerPoint)

 Candidates should have:

  • The ideal candidate will have accounting experience and be working towards completion of a relevant accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

  • A bachelors degree in a financial background would be desirable

  • Good knowledge of SAP and OneStream would be an advantage 

  • Mathematically inclined

  • Proficient with computers, in particular Excel

  • Very good analytical skills

  • Pro-active, organised and detail orientated

  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in English
