Pricing Specialist   
Stoneleigh (Warwickshire)

 

The Parts Pricing team is responsible for the production and maintenance of parts price lists across the AGCO brands to support the delivery of the company operational, tactical and strategic objectives. The Pricing Specialist will be a key member of the Central Pricing team, having the responsibility for the preparation, creation, analysis and deployment of price reviews across a defined list of commodity groups. The role will require occasional travel to other AGCO locations and may also include visits to AGCO suppliers, dealers & distributors.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Central and Market pricing responsibility for a defined list of commodity groups

  • Issue and update price lists

  • Achieve budget standard margin and price increase objectives

  • Margin and revenue protection

  • Utilise technical value driver relationships to set credible, market-related prices

  • New parts pricing for defined commodity groups

  • Establish consistent price position within and across part families, brands

  • Competitive price and elasticity analysis, internal and agency researchers

  • Respond to customer price claims, queries and complaints

  

Skills and Experience:
 

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant experience

  • Previous Pricing experience is desirable

  • High level of numeracy

  • Attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving.

  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business

  • An ability to work within a team, prioritize workloads, work to tight deadlines

  • Competency in Microsoft Excel / Access or similar applications is necessary

  • Commercial experience is required due to the potential impacts on the business

  • A second European language is desirable in order to support certain markets.
