Purpose of the Position:
Establish control system improvement and develop the most efficient production technology.
Maintain and trouble shoot online to meet the manufacturing performance target.
Demonstrate fundamental knowledge and provide equipment control logic and flow in normal production operation.
Take the lead role in team to achieve performance improvement target goal, like equipment reliability and capability improvement.
Well communication, relationship and positive working attitude in team.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Support daily performance sustains. Such as trouble shooting while performance upset or equipment shut down.
Integrate world wide Division, equipment maker and plant production resource to reach project assignment.
Lead performance improvement project to achieve target goals.
Lowest cost and equipment capability projects.
Data analysis tool application for manufactory decision making.
Weekend and shift coverage is requirement as needed;
Project involved with:
Work with expansion project team for equipment design, installation and start up.
Work with maintenance department to ensure the equipment reliability.
Work with production department to improvement yield and uptime stability.
Lead and initiate project to achieve lowest cost operation.
Conduct follow up assignment. Reporting Structure: Immediate Supervisor: Engineering Section Manager Direct reports: None.
Education & Experience
BS or above Degree in Automation, Electrical, or Physical Engineering..
2 + years production running or Equipment design experience.
Familiar with Mitsubishi PLC (Q-series CPU), HMI (GOT series) application.
Familiar with equipment control system design.
Familiar with electrical control component application, such like Inverter, Servo Motor, Sensor, signal translator, etc.
Experience in Robot Application (Fanuc, Yaskawa robot)
Skill in Excel, Office, power point, database.
Desired Skills Skill in Auto CAD Skill in Excel VBA, VB, C++
Fundamental understanding of equipment mechanical and control.
Process concept understanding.
Experience in people management.
Fundamental understanding of ISO9000/TQM.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
1+ year Experience of supervising at least 2-3 engineers
Excellent written and presentation skills needed to brief high level management
Leadership skills to engage business leadership and leverage talent in a matrix organization.
Sense of urgency and creativity to handle project issues and adapt plan to meet objectives
Flexibility to adapt to changing environment; be a change agent to help others through change
