We’re looking for someone who will:

  • Act as the primary guardian of the overall bank relationship for a small portfolio of SME Business Banking customers
  • Spend majority of their time on proactive customer facing activities – regular customer meetings to deepen understanding and partnership approach, maximise share of wallet, involvement in the annual review process where required and ensuring that customer receives consistent excellent service.
  • Identify new to bank business opportunities across the bank’s product suite, leveraging recommendations from existing customers, local community bodies and KBIs.
  • Prepare credit lending applications for new lending above an agreed threshold
  • Contribute to the delivery of the strategic plan growth targets by maintaining and promoting our SME brand presence across the NI business community via engagement with the professional advisor market to deliver strong pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate across our internal teams to deliver for our customers, through working together to seek out new ideas and different perspectives to act as a role model for the team through living the AIB Brand values.

You will need to show us that you have:

  1. Proven track record in Business Customer relationship management experience
  2. Proven Credit ability, with experience commensurate with the ability to critically assess and structure new lending applications
  3. Ability to work either individually or as part of a team in order to execute a strategic plan which delivers and sustains growth, winning and retaining new and existing business customers
  4. Ability to work flexibly across a variety of locations
  5. Excellent communication and influencing skills, both in writing and verbally using a variety of methods (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
