The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our high performing Tasmanian Field Sales Team. The position will manage a defined territory of accounts (off-premise, hybrid, and on-premise) to achieve the State and National sales result via excellence of in-field execution. We’re looking for someone passionate about wine, self motivated and who takes initiative to bring ideas to life. Given the majority of the accounts in the defined territory are based in the South of Tasmania, Hobart would be the ideal location of the successful candidate.
This is a full time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales KPI’s around call rate, coverage, distribution, trade spend, product mix and volume
- Execute sales and marketing strategies and state based initiatives to achieve annual revenue targets for your territory
- Participate as a member of the National Field Sales community
- Prospect and achieve new business acquisition
- Utilise, update and maintain our CRM system and other field administration requirements
- Arrange a geographically defined territory into a journey plan that delivers efficient service to customers, and maximises the utilisation of time
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in liquor (wine preference) or FMCG at field level
- Strong experience in Business, Marketing or Sales
- Experience working to clear targets and deadlines
- Relationship building skills of a high level
- Strong presentation skills
- Planning/time management skills
- Flexibility to travel to regional accounts each quarter
- A valid drivers Licence
