The Experience
In today’s dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Marketing team at Colgate. Our highly energetic and focused Personal Care Insights MarketingTeam is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive and for Latin Americain this ever-changing landscape. What role will you play as a member of the Insights team? 
As the Insights Director for Personal Care In Latin America, you’ll lead the Personal Care insights team to deliver up to date research approaches and tools that drive business growth in this changing innovation, commercial, retail and media environment. You are the one to elevate the performance, optimize impact, and feed the development of the team. You’ll be the one driving transformation and help the team to impact the business trough their thought leadership connecting the dots from different sets of data and adopting new tools that deliver solid insights in a more agile manner. 
 
Who are you?

You connect the dots- You will play a pivotal role in guiding Commercial and, Marketing teams on all commercial activation strategies including developing category meta learning to leverage acquired knowledge to inform future key decisions
You are a collaborator- In this role, as the Leader of an experienced and dynamic team, you will partner with  foresights to lead people centric innovation opportunities for the region, impact brand positioning and communications development based on solid cultural understanding and metalearning
You are an innovator- You will challenge the status quo and will identify new ways to better understand and test innovation opportunities while elevating innovation capabilities within the team . Drive holistic category business analysis from Nielsen, Kantar panel and business analytics data points (ie. price strategy, portfolio optimization) to inform and guide category strategy at market level
You are curious- It’s important to proactively discover, innovate and experiment with new areas of insights to impact the business. Partner with global PCP consumer insights and technology insights to contribute with global strategy and leverage global agenda and guidelines to nurture regional insights plans.

External requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  •  Fluent  in English (critical)
  •  Experience in research in consumer product goods industry is ideal but not disqualifier, Tech/Digitally centered companies also preferred 
  •  Evident digital capabilities for research plus strong experience with agile research platforms
  •  Foresight knowledgeable/experienced (ideal) 
  •  Experience leading insights, team development and driving functional transformation.
  •  Experience/knowledge in Brazil Market (ideal)
