About the role

We are now recruiting for a Assistant Product Manager with a keen eye for business and a passion for crafting exceptional products to join our vibrant team within our product unit based in Adelaide CBD. 

At the forefront of shaping our product portfolio, you’ll assist in refining existing products, developing new product initiatives, and gain exposure to the entire product lifecycle, from conception to market release and beyond. 

This role will be a full time fixed term 12 month contract, offering hybrid working with 2-3 days per week from home. 
 

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in identifying improvement areas to ensure our product portfolio remains competitive and relevant
• Assist in conducting market research, defining product specifications, and supporting the development process for new wine products
• Support the establishment of KPIs and metrics to measure product success and performance in the market
• Work closely with R&D, marketing, sales, and production teams to facilitate the execution of product initiatives
• Proactively update project plans, timelines and budgets providing regular updates to stakeholders
• Stay up to date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products in the wine market
   

What you’ll bring:

• Interest in product management, preferably within the wine or FMCG sectors
• Ability to proactively manage multiple priorities/projects within tight deadlines
• Mature attitude and solutions focused approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage complex tasks with excellent attention to detail
• High level organisation and time management skills
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for alcoholic beverages will be highly regarded, as is a qualification in Business, Marketing, Projects, or a related field
